Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

Stop giving Tobias 'Lip'. :)

I have to say though, I'm not exactly striving for a 'classy' look with my truck, more of a 'Mad Max', Special Ops look. The gloss black lipped BMF's worked great on both of your trucks, but they're not aggressive/tough looking enough for the look I'm going for which is why the Kranks looked so bad photoshopped on my truck. So, I see what Tobias is getting at.

Also, I've noticed, with a deep lip, when you look at a truck with a deep wheel at an angle, you don't see the face of the wheel.

Seems like that type of wheel is popular on the west coast, all those guys go with the deep Hostages, Deep Octanes..etc.

As far as looking stuffed, I may disagree with you, the 35's look rather small on my truck at these angles.

perhaps in THOSE pictures, but in real life the 35's look perfect. i'm higher than you and i think 37s would be too much on my truck.

Yeah, and I wouldn't want a tire with white lettering turned inside out cause it's still visible too.

IIRC Dan had MTZ's, I think he liked them.

Still do have them, they're actually on my truck now. I didn't get the mileage I was hoping out of them, but I'm probably closing in on 35k, and could make it to 40, which isn't terrible.

They do well on the street, but do get loud as they wear.

By what 1/16" :D you're going by your measurements, wait until the trucks are together side by side, we'll see. Besides the King Coilovers may raise my front up a bit once they're on.

I think I put > 500 miles on my truck last year, so with the lack of miles I put on my truck they would last a lonnng time.
