Wheel thread...

Ok, it's early, work is slow, so I have time to plan before I buy the wheels...


I haven't found much, but I'm looking for suggestions of non-black wheels, other than these, if anyone can find any


20" non-black wheels are a PITA to find... And tire shops are all like "WTF, here, look at these Fuel wheels, they're black. You want them."


These are what I've found so far, that I like:


Mayhem Monstir:

American Eagle 056:

I'm leaning towards the Mayhems, even though they're chrome instead of polished because they've got a higher weight rating than the Eagle's... 1000lbs more per wheel, give or take


I'm open to suggestions other than American Force wheels... While those are nice... With the exchange rate, I'm not paying 8 grand + for JUST wheels


The Eagles and Monstir's are around 5700 for wheels and tires

The Eagles are 2500lbs/wheel on the fronts and 2300 on the rears... The Mayhems are 3200.

Does Alcoa still make a few dually wheels? You should check. They were king before they gutted the light duty line

I only see the standard Alcoas, which are light and strong, but not super sexy. They have the same finish as the Class 8 truck wheels, which I am sure you are familiar with Alcoa Wheels North America: Product Search: Fitment by Mounting System or Wheel Size: 167041 - Classic 8 8-bolt Single Rear Wheel

Did they change the bolt pattern on the duallies in '10 like they did on the single wheel when they did the axle upgrades? This sucks so damn bad that they changed it

I hate that GM did this. The new axles are nothing short of impressive; the hubs, discs, flanges, etc are freaking massive, now, but the wheel selection is freaking dismal.
