What's a used tonneau worth?

I'm getting ready to buy a cap for my truck, so that means the bed cover has to go. It's a hard roll up cover, Roll-lock I think. Black vinyl on top, in good shape, fits a Ram 6 1/2' bed. The local Craigslist doesn't have anything too similar to compare values, it came with the truck so I don't even know what they go for new.

Any guesses? I was thinking maybe $500 or see if someone wants to do a straight swap for a cap.

It came with the truck, which I bought used. So technically it cost me $20K and came with a handsome carrying case

I'd look it up on the web and ask for about half of new.

Appears to go for about $1200 new. I didn't get keys for it, but I understand a new lock cylinder is about $25

I was going to say around there because I'd rather have a trifold on my trucks and its around that price new! The way I use trucks I needed the bed cover system to be there when I needed it and out of the way when I don't need it. If I was on a long trip it was on the truck if I was hauling it stayed in the garage.

At least, get enough for it to cover a good part of its' replacement, unless you're really going "top line".

My wife says I always pay too much for truck stuff.
