All Total a mail order scan cable tune runs about $300 or $250. Something like that, you'll want a spare PCM since you have a warranty still so that is another $100 I think.

If you are thinking of doing it go ahead and get on the list for the cable, there is about a 6~8 week wait right now.

As far as what to get: Just tell Justin how you drive and what you expect from the tune. Everyone will echo this " He will make your truck run better than it ever has". The guy knows his shit and can fix you up. There is no reason to try and learn about all of that stuff and try to figure out which way to do it. Kind of like trying to tell a surgeon how to do something.

He is very well spoken of in the GM tuning field. I have had my tune for about 10 months now and have absolutely no complaints. Worth the money for sure.

No problem. Well coming from a 4.3 you will have more power obviously but after Justin gets finished you will have more more power. These trucks are detuned from the factory so you can't get in any trouble with them. I'm sure a lot has to do with keeping the EPA happy but we end up getting the short end.

Welcome to the site! the others have covered it pretty well. Get an intake, tune and some exhaust and see how it feels. It should wake that 6.2 up really well.
