I can't believe you bumped this, Karl  I even see I missed a couple, now.

So, you had a turbo RX, too? Man, it was way too much car for a 18 year old  I think my insurance rocketed to $400 a month, right before I lost my license :D2

I was king for a while, though.

That was a lot of dough for a kid in '89 working, and trying to pay rent.

I was a little older when I had mine, but it was definitely a riot. The only thing that made it easy to get rid of was going to the 98 camaro as my next car with 305hp, vs the RX's 200 :)

Thread revival works for me, fun to see what others said, like:

As you can tell, my wife and I enjoy cars/trucks even though they are horrible investments. We are saving up to build a house on some land we bought a few years ago so I'm done buying vehicles for now. That being said, I plan to replace our current 3rd car (Acura) with a new Camaro in 3 years. :D

Done buying vehicles for now? How many have you bought since that post?

Ha. It's funny how things change and a lot has changed since that post in '09. We did end up building a house but it is on different land in a different state. And I haven't wanted a Camaro in years now.

I guess I should update the list:

Before getting married:
1990 Honda Accord (wife's)
1992 Toyota Celica (wife's)
1993 Chevrolet S-10 2wd (mine)
1992 Honda Prelude AWS (mine)
1997 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 (mine)
1994 Eagle Talon TSI AWS (mine)
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V-8 (mine)

After getting married:
2002 Chevrolet Silverado ECSB (mine)
2003 Lexus IS300 (wife's)
2004 GMC Denali (wife's)
2006 Lexus GS300 (wife's)
2007 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB GMT900 (mine)
2007 BMW 328i (wife's)
2008 GMC Sierra CCSB 5.3 (mine)
2005 Acura RSX (weekend toy)

Since the original post in '09:
2010 BMW X5 (wife's)
2011 Honda Civic (commuter...hated it. Only lasted 2 months)
2004 BMW 330ci (weekend toy)
2012 GMC Sierra Denali AWD (mine)
2012 BMW X5 (wife's)
2012 GMC Sierra All Terrain CCSB (mine)
2013 GMC Sierra All Terrain CCSB (mine)
2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (weekend toy)

I don't think I left anything out. We might be going back to 2 vehicles shortly since my wife's promotion comes with a car after the first of the year.

Life is good.
