What do you think?

Anyone want to guess what the estimate will be on this? I don't think the insurance will total it, but the truck is old, and that's quite a bit of damage.

I was doing 35 down a road that has 2 lanes going either way with a middle turning lane. I was coming up to an intersection that was green. There was a bus and a car behind it in the left turn lane going the same direction as me, they had the red. About 30 feet before I got there, the car decided to pull around the bus and go straight. Nowhere I could go.

Anyways, just wondering what you guys think.

Here's the car. The driver was looking for their info. at the time I took it so the front door was open. It had some small dents, but this was the worst of it.

I'd bet about three grand. Looks like all of the damage is bolt on stuff thankfully.

Yeah, only problem is if they replace the hood. I actually never knew what it was, I got it off CL for $80. I just found it.

I think the Yukon won. It doesn't look like too much, a fender, hood, grill, and head lights but being a 95 with that many miles it won't take much to total it out. Worst case, if they total it just buy it back and buy the parts to fix it.

I agree with Matt. And the hood damage looks very minor and can be repaired easily.

Your truck is definitely repairable, IMHO, but that KIA is totaled

Haven't talked to the adjuster yet. I made statements with my and the other driver's insurance, so they haven't officially said who was at fault yet.

I don't think there's any way you could look at that damage and say it was my fault, from the way things happened. I'll keep you guys updated. We'll see what the insurance estimates for damage and vehicle value.
