I've been knocked down drug out and left for dead
Washed all of the damn salt off of it yesterday. It's black again.

Started it to see how well the new glow plugs work after letting it cold soak overnight (36 degrees). Started right up.

Next step is to fix/check the block heater. Someone cut the plug off it before I bought the truck. I'm not sure if that was because the heater was no good, or if the plug just got caught on something and tore off. A new cord is $24, new heater is a little over twice that, and comes with a new cord. If all I need is the cord I'd hate to spend the money for a new heater, but if I just buy the cord and the heater is bad I'll have wasted that $24.Started it to see how well the new glow plugs work after letting it cold soak overnight (36 degrees). I might just get the improved heater (1000w vs 600w) for $65 and swap it and be done with it.

Next step is to fix/check the block heater. Someone cut the plug off it before I bought the truck.
