Did you forget some lights on or something? :wtf:
A battery shouldn't go dead that fast...
The one in my truck will go dead in about 3 to 4 weeks...
The one in the car will do dead in about 2 to 3 weeks.
The alarm draws on it.

You need to buy bigger reserve capacity batteries

My Z34 and my Blazer both had alarms, and always had chargers plugged into the power outlets and they'd be able to sit for a month or two at a time and fire right back up :dunno:

The newer ones with the LAN have a RETAINED ACCESSORY POWER module that shuts all the computers down after 10 minutes.......... UNLESS..... stuff is plugged in that keep "IT" awake.
If that happens... then it keeps some of the other stuff powered up as well.
Which is why the batteries go dead so quick.

My Blazer had the RAP module :dunno:

But then again, I do go overkill with my replacement batteries...

In the last 50 years, of me buying batteries... I have never failed to buy the biggest, baddest battery that will fit in the space... :rollin:
But at this time, both the truck and the Caddy still have the original battery...
When they get replaced... I will do my usual thing and get the biggest one that will fit.

I had to.... Convince my last battery that it wanted to fit in my Blazer

It's a good thing I'd already replaced the negative battery cable with a longer one :uhoh:

For yesterday:

Took it to the track.

Ran a 13.29.

And blew a brake line.

It's a bit interesting when you hit the brakes at 105mph and the pedal goes straight to the floor with only about 20% braking force.

Nah, best so far was last Dec., 13.16.

I really am not looking forward to replacing the 4 remaining rotted hard lines on this fWONking thing. Had to do all 5 on an '03 at work this summer, and it was the most tedious thing I have ever done.

Going to upgrade the flex sections to stainless braided hose?

I'm going to try to get a quote for running ALL stainless braided, just because it'll cut install time down exponentially, and will actually be doable without a lift. Running hard line in the OEM location below the firewall (basically in the 2" between the frame and cab) is fucking torture.

Not expecting it to be within my budget though. This doesn't have to be done any time soon, I have the Miata up at school, and never actually need to drive the truck this time of year.
