Thanks to non go pedal using m/fer's, I drove it like I stole it a few times. :D
I hate it when I have to do that....
I don't! I love every second of it! :D2
We need a smiley to show that we actually mean the opposite...
I knew what you meant Jim......I just had to put it into words!
I do like the sound fo the NorthStar V8 in the Caddy.
32 Valves...4 cams and freeflow mufflers...it sounds pretty good as it hits 7000 RPM...

I've only owned two vehicles that could hit 7k... My TDOHC Lumina Z34, and my '85 S10 with the carbed 2.8 :D
Not many V8's will turn 7000 RPM...consistently and reliably... :D

I'm pretty sure that my 2.8 couldn't... The tach stopped at 6k... I hit 7500 RPM a few times

I wish more V8's could rev like that...

Washed it and waxed it. Damn that fwonker was dirty!

Now my arms ache from all that scrubbing.

And filled both tanks, and the spare can... 27 gallons.

But, I think the wax made it faster. :D2

Yep,dirt can be a drag :jester:

When you have something with that much wind resistance, every little bit helps. :D2

Teflon paint?

Not a bad idea.....wonder if it exists :dunno:

The only way it could get worse is if you attached a sail to it........when I tow my trailer it feels like a sail, especially if it's a head wind

Ordered a Sonnax Line Pressure Booster for the transmission! Guys on the Ram forums are really loving these.

_DSC2133.JPG

#45LPB / #68LPB. This family of transmissions uses a full range line pressure sensor mounted on the outside of the transmission for "closed loop" line pressure control. Due to this system, traditional methods of raising line pressure by changing the PR spring or valves have no effect. This Line Pressure Booster alters the pressure signal sent to the computer causing the computer to raise line pressure. The 68RFE has a 10-15 PSI increase and the 45RFE and 545RFE has a 15-30 PSI increase. Higher line pressure increases clutch holding power and torque capacity. Changes in shift feel will be noticed mostly under aggressive driving or loaded conditions. This part is ideal for heavy duty and modified vehicles and even stock transmissions when a little extra pressure is desired. No other modifications are required. The Line Pressure Booster installs between the pressure sensor and vehicle harness using OEM style sealed connectors. Simply unplug the vehicle harness and reconnect with one of these parts. Cost $49.00
