Put gas in it.

Have you filled it up yet? Curious how big your tank is..

Not yet. Every time I get gas I use the card reader on the pump and they have a $100 limit. Just looked at the amount of gallons I put in this morning. Was just about 27. That brought it just about to full. So I would guess 30 gallon. :dunno:

I think that $100 dollar limit is pretty common everywhere these days.If I have the time I'll go in and ask the attendant to let it go past the limit. The tanks on our Burbs are 42 so it can look like a Las Vegas jackpot sometimes

Filled it up. My tank is only 25gal (sometimes I wish it were bigger), but I only put in 17gal and came out to 16.4mpg. Not bad since I was really pissed off and did a few WOT runs onto the interstate to 70mph.

Gary, where is the tank on the Burb? I know your 3/4ton and a 454, but the frame is still the same length as my truck (I think). So why in that case did the ECLB trucks get a 35gal while you're sitting on 42 on a shorter frame?

It's where the spare tire would normally be on a truck, between the frame rails behind the rear axle. That's why the spare tire is inside in the back.Replacing the fuel pump is a royal pain, ask me how I know :jester:

I need to play scrap man with it today, and haul some aluminum scrap in. I also need to take back extra shingles left over from putting my roof on. I have to take the wife to work. I need to take my grandson to the batting cages to meet the rest of the team there. Not that he needs it, he is carrying a .468 average this year.
