Drove to california (625 miles) to see my son. I think I will cut the cat out tonight, seems fitting as I am in the emissions capital of America.

so i tried to gut the cat but man, those guts are tough. so now it is sitting in the bed of the truck and a "test"pipe is in its place inline on the exhaust.

man did it make the exhaust loud under full throttle..

Why do you think they make fiddle strings out of them?





Honestly, the only way I have heard of people having luck gutting the cats is if they remove them then use a piece of rebar (or something similar) and a hammer to chisel the crap out of them. There may be easier ways to do it, but I haven't heard of them.

Drove it like usual, put $40 worth of fuel at $3.94 a gallon in yesterday, and I wasn't even to 3/4 of a tank yet
