What did you do to your truck today?

Got it warmed up while I had my morning coffee, then I drove it to work.

Man I love having remote start.

This stupid CTS I am driving DOES NOT have remote start....

I mean...DAMN...It's a freaking Cadillac...
(well it has the Cadillac NAME on it...it ain't a REAL Cadillac as we normally think of them)

But still...no remote start on a $45,000 car??
THAT SUCKS...

Do you have it on your DTS?

Yep...and if it is cold it turns on the heated seats and the heated steering wheel.. all automatically.
The DTS also knows if there is anything on the windshield and back window.
If there is frost or ice...it turns on the defroster for front and back window... waits a couple of minutes, then heats the WASHER FLUID to 140 degrees and sprays it on the windshield and then runs the wipers for just a minute to clear everything off.

My DTS is a "REAL" Cadillac...

Wow Jim. I wish mine did all that. It will just start the truck. If the Ac was left on, it will run the AC, or if the heat was left on it will run the heater. I do have a temp sensor though. I can check the interior temperature of my truck with the remote.

The DTS uses the inside and outside temp sensors to know what to do.
It uses the rain sensor that is built into the windshield to know if there is anything on it and the temp sensor to see if it needs to run the HEATED washers and wipers.

I really do like it.
Hope to get it back today.
It has been in the shop since Monday..
