Talked to it about ordering a 10" enclosure to upgrade my bass. The 8" is nice but it doesn't hit hard enough.

What do you have in the Hoe audio wise?

Kicker 8" with an amp, stock in the doors for now and a JVC-KD-AVX77 head unit. I'm thinking of adding the 10" and then getting some components for the fronts and coaxials in the back. A nice set of components with a good amp should help fill in some of the bass a little.

Why, you have some free stuff you wanna send me? :D

Well I was thinking about it, but NO!

I was curious because I'm rolling 100% stock and need some direction.

I'd go with a nice double-DIN that has built-in navigation, components for the fronts, coaxials in the back and a single or double sub setup in the back. I'd also add in a backup cam as well - they're cheap. Obviously you'll need a couple of decent amps as well.

What brand(s) would you recommend, I don't really want Nav or backup cam and would prefer a stock looking if not stock head unit.

Alpine has always been good to me as far as door speakers go. I've had Rockfords, Kickers, etc. for bass but there are a ton of good makers. As for head units, just get on Crutchfield and start lookin'!

I'd suggest starting a thread looking for advice. Several of the guys here have some very intimate car audio knowledge and would be able to help you pick out some gear within whatever budget you want to set!
