Less IFS, moar SFA :jester::jester:
What's the upgrade, does this have LSD or a better gear ratio?

As to my Jeep, I finished fabbing up the tool to tighten my Rubicon Express superflex joints in my upper control arms- I'm too cheap to spend 60 bucks on the tool, so I welded a flat plate to an OLD iron socket and tacked some small lengths of rod to it. Arms don't move now, and I don't get death wobble after I hit a bump anymore :thumbs:

The upgrade is bigger... It's from a 3/4 ton... And has steeper gears... 3.73s...
It's all part of the project :ohnoes:

Replaced the passenger side outside door handle which had snapped right at the mounting bolt.

What a fWONKing PITA that was to work on!

What should have been a 15 minute job ended up taking 2 fWONKing hours. And I had to order more of those plastic/nylon panel retainers than I really needed because none of my local parts places (NAPA, AZ and Advance) carried that style. I broke three trying to get the inner panel off, and yes, I even used the right tools for the job.

I finally found some on eBay but the prices were allover the place. One guy wanted $17 + shipping for 25 of them, another wanted $3 each, a third wanted $5.55 for 10, but $8.50 for the shipping. I finally found one guy selling 50 of them for $6.99 + $4 shipping, so I bought 50.

I still have the drivers side handle to do (it's not broke but I bought a pair so the finish will match) and now I don't need to be careful pulling them out. I can break off every one of the fwonkers and just replace 'em with new if I want.

No worries. I figure after I do the other door I should have about 35-40 left over, and if I sell 'em on eBay for $1.50 each (1/2 what that one guy was selling 'em for) I'll make a nice profit and maybe buy some TMC decals. :)
