Drove it to take my ham test, and will be driving it up to the hospital soon to visit with the wife.

Drove it to Wally World and work. I also put in some 100 octane fuel. I know it doesn't make a difference but I sure like to think so, mentally I feel a difference.

So does the ole' butt-o-meter.

I wish they had some 100 octane around here..
I own EFI Live...I could MAKE IT be better...

Yeah, but can't afford it much. It is $7.48 a gallon. 10 gallons cost me $74.80. OUCH!

I like to run it in my 65 impala, makes the exhaust smell like I'm at a Pro Stock race.

OUCH... at that price I couldn't afford much of it either.. :dunno:
But it would be fun to have some this fall when I take the DTS back to the 1/4 mile strip..

Rockingham Dragway here in NC sells racing fuel at the track. You can even get the 114 octane, but that is still leaded I believe.

Now that I think of it isn't there a law out that all fuel racing or not has to be unleaded by a certain year? I recall hearing it somewhere. :dunno:

IIRC, the race fuels went to unleaded a couple of years ago. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me.

How is she doing?

Well, she's not trying to bite, punch or maim the physical therapist anymore, but I think that's mostly because of the drugs.

Seriously though, she's really doing great with it. PT is a royal bitch, and it's hard to see her cry from the pain, but she's working at it and improving steadily every day. She'll probably be discharged on Monday (possibly tomorrow) and then it's 3-4 weeks of home PT before she goes back to work, but she's a trooper, and both her physical therapist and her nurse have commented on how fast she's recovering.

Decided it needed a stack. Dumped exhaust is too boring.

For that matter, given how short it is, and how a "pocket" of "dead" air forms just behind the cab in pickups at highway speeds, I wonder if you might have a problem while driving also. You might not, but it's something you might want to be aware of and watch out for.
