Well on the bright side they warrantied it and didn't give you any crap about it.

I drove the '11 250 miles to work, first real road test with the new suspension. McGaughy makes some crappy shocks though, I will have to look at the end bushings on them. I could hear them rattle on the bumps.:(

Yea when i called them I talked to the manager to avoid any flack from them other people in the store. I told him what happend and he said "dont worry about it just bring it in and I'll exchange it for you." Once i got up there i showed him my belt too and he warrantied it even thought it had no warranty. He didn't even bother to try to out it on there "tester". Good guy if you ask my opinion

The ONLY company I've found that makes good lowered shocks has been Belltech. I've tried Toxic, DJM and all of them were basically junk. Belltech shocks are the best handling and seem to be built the best.

That's what I have read, piss poor research on my part. I got the kit with shocks thinking it would be good. Then I read a bunch more about how crappy McGaughy's shocks were. Live and learn right.

we went and put the boat in the water so that I could drive out to the gulf just to find out it was too rough for my little boat and me to go fishing so we got the boat back up on the trailer and headed home :( sad day

Same here. I then got the big idea of buying Toxic shocks. Which were good shocks on mini trucks for years. They're junk for full size trucks. The DJM's rode too damn rough and only lasted 15k miles and were shot! These Belltech's I'm on are well passed the 20K mile mark and are still like new.

I think I will machine some bushings so they don't rattle. I have 35 psi in the bags to get it level, so the bags are doing most of the work. I just hate to have a brand new truck with a damn rattle. I will probably wait until spring before I get some BellTechs.

Don't blame you. I'd use them up in the mean time too. The Street Performers from Belltech are my next shocks. I've read nothing but good reviews from them.
