4L60E is an automatic, he has a manual. Manuals don't have pumps, so a cooler would be pretty useless since there'd be no flow through it.

I know he has a manual. I was using the 4L60E as an example. But I forgot that manuals don't have fluid pressure at all; fluid is meant for cooling and lubricating. Oops.

About the best he could do would be to figure out a way to add a deep, heavy finned sump to it.
