this weekend I get to change the rear output seal on the T-case of the Tahoe.

9 years, and had only it's second problem now :thumbs:

Avoided what could have been about a 12 car pile up yesterday. Some people just don't know how to read signs and drive. :dunno:

Used mine to help out a fellow ham whose wife broke down on I-95 near me today. Damn hard line going to the heater core rusted out on her, in an '05 Grand Caravan, so she overheated and barely made it to a safe pull-off area. I went to help, with a couple of gallons of pre-mix I keep in the truck, but the line was shot and there was no way to easily bypass it, so I kept them company until the tow truck got there.

Why are you guys so damn much?

Wisconsin (annual)
"A" 4500lbs = $75 ----- compacts (S10, Tacoma, Ranger); some guys put on 1/2 tons for some stupid reason
"B" 6000lbs = $84 ----- 1/2 tons basically
"C" 8000lbs = $106 ----- 3/4 tons; some guys put on 1/2 tons
10,000lbs + = based on vehicle weight
motorcycle/moped = $23 bi-annual

Just pulled up my registration renewal. $55.50 per year. Gonna be a whopping $164.50... if I go for the three year registration.

The wife's truck is a bit more expensive... $63.75 per year

Just over $55 per year. And the truck is rated at 15k GVWR :D2

Of course, that's just the registration. Taxes are by county and are billed separately. About $140 per year for mine, and about $225 per year for the wife's Dakota

Edit: You were right... I forgot to calculate in the $1.00 per year discount they give if you renew online or by mail. That makes it $54.50 per year, or $163.50 for three years.

I had to get my truck rated at 22k lbs...

I Paid $60 last year for 7000lbs...
