Got a new work truck. Last month, I got in a head-on collision in my former F250 company truck. Old dude in the on coming left turn lane just drove straight into my lane. Said his Covid mask obstructed his view.

So, I just picked up a new 2020 F250 XLT/STX crew cab

Not bad for a work truck!

That 10 speed is pretty cool, and the new PowerStroke is 475hp/1050tq

Getting the bedliner sprayed on Friday, and the RideRite bags/wireless compressor installed in our shop Monday. Gonna hook on to a 16,000 trailer next Friday, and see how she does on a 300 mile trip.

At least they bought me a new truck

This weekend I put the gooseball in the bed, and the goosebox on the camper and took it for a little spin. Super happy with everything so far.

It's also a lot easier to remove this (20 pounds) from the bed:

than this (285 pounds):

Intrigued! Love to hear your impressions. If we keep the 5er, I want to do this. I already ditched the heavy slider 5th wheel I bought. **** that thing was heavy!

We are thinking about just trading in for a Host slide in camper, or downgrading everything now that I have a nicer company truck.

A nice smooth half ton sure does sound nice

Yes, glad you were not hurt. Hopefully the new ride will not give you any problems. Seems all these new vehicles have electric issues anymore. Unless you are a GM 8 sp transmission then they just plan suck.
