Put that right foot on a diet, unless your in competition with your Dad for the number of tickets you collect....:rollin:

I've been fortunate in that regard. I'll let you own that crown!

Truth be told, on my way back from Arizona after Thanksgiving (on the new tires), I got the single best MPG on a tank of a gas in that truck.

Due to the issues I was having getting the damn thing to start, it pretty much sat parked for at least 2 weeks since then, though. I'll get a better gauge on the "local mileage" over the next month or so.

The last time I was pulled over for speeding was when I had the '07 Denali. It was in the shop when the transmission was leaking. The dealership gave me a Malibu loaner or something along those lines... Maybe it was an Impala. But, it rode real smooth (compared to the truck).

I had gone over to my parents to let me dad look at it (he was considering getting a new car at the time and had mentioned whatever-the-hell-the-loaner-was as a possibility). After leaving their place, I was hit the freeway and was just cruising home. A cop popped me with radar and pulled me over.

We got to talking. I explained it was a loaner and was a lot more smooth than my truck, and "I didn't realize I was even speeding, this thing rides so smooth. He asked what kind of truck and I told him. "Oh, I've been looking at those! I have a truck too!" (I forget what brand.) But, we talked for a while and he ended up letting me go.

The last time I remember getting a ticket was when I had the '04 TSX. I was running late for work, pulled out of the back of the apartment complex, and got popped for 42 in a 35 or something like that. The cop was setup in the entry way for the townhouses behind the apartments I lived in, behind a damn brick wall. I could BAAAARELY see his head sticking up over the wall and by the time I realized it was a cop, it was WAY too late... At the time, I didn't think I was even really speeding that much. But, he thought it was enough. :(

The local cops here don't have radar so it's fairly easy to get away with speeding. Unless you run across a countie or state cop...
