No problem.

Get a sump or a draw straw and the pump will make less noise.

Heh...my next question was: how real is the "1/4 tank" issue? Messing with a sump or a draw straw starts making me wonder if i want to deal with the lift right now. :)

I routinely run my truck to the low fuel level warning... It's not common.

The factory pickup has a screen that's roughly 1/4 tank high... What happens, is if there's enough crap in the tank, the extra suction from the lift pump can suck the crap into the screen... I don't see you having the problem.

I suggest the straw or sump to keep pump noise even lower. The less it has to work to pull the fuel, the less noise it will make.

Nothing to the Silverado but I did wash the Burb. :) Also took the Burb to the dealer for a shimmy, turned out I have two bad tires. They are replacing them tomorrow morning. It only has 1k miles on it. Tech said he couldn't get them to balance on the force balance machine. Nice to know the shimmy wasn't my imagination.
