Crossover steering swap using 99-04 Grand Cherokee knuckles, rotors and calipers to give me dual pistons and bigger rotors in front. I made the drag link and tie rod out of 1.25" solid cromoly on a lathe, drilled and tapped each side for factory tie rod ends. Also used a RHD tie rod end to flip the drag link to the top of the steer arm. Meant moving the track bar over the axle to keep it parallel to the drag link. Track bar uses Johnny Joints by Currie, bracket and unit bearing spacers were from Clayton Off-road.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Drove it. But my driver's door is starting to stick open. The little roller/bearing deal that keeps it open isn't spinning any more. Should try to oil it, and/or see how much it'd cost to replace that little part.

I'm an engineer who grew up on a farm. I'm well aware of the WD40/Duct Tape rule. :jester:

And it did help, BTW

Now, when the WD40 dries, spray it with a good lithium or teflon based lubricant, and it'll be even better [emoji38]
