Got it appraised at a whopping $5500 at the local dodge/Chrysler/jeep dealership, that was my down payment back in 2008, only 82xxx miles ago. :( Oh well, I beat the hell out of it. It could use new tires, shocks and a few other things I didn't feel like investing in. Time to trade before it goes from Ford to F.O.R.D. (fix or repair daily)

Trading down to a little 4x4 jeep patriot latitude. I want something smaller with a back seat and covered cargo area. Getting a 6 speed 4x4, 2.4 L in white so that I can't see all the scratches I'll put on it. Should be a fun little critter, just strong enough to pull my boat and get to areas the truck couldn't.

Just saw this. You know we require pictures here!

I got the hitch and trailer lights installed today. It pulls my boat better than I expected. I had the boat filled with stuff from when I had to bug out Sunday. It had trouble on a few steep hills but dropping from 4.6L to 2.4L is quite a jump.

Glad you made it out Colby

As for me I jacked up the front end to check out what I suspected as a rt. front wheel bearing/hub failure.Barely made it home yesterday. As I thought....hub is shot.Ordered a new one and will pick it up in the morning.Wish the K2500 hubs were as easy as a K1500 to install :(

Congrats!

Probably a little down on torque compared to the 4.6.

Yeah, but it pulled up a hill at 5,000 rpm with a full load that the truck would downshift empty.

Last Friday I swapped out the fuel filter on my truck. Some one before me obliterated the blue fuel line clip. I had to take it out in pieces to release the line. Then I spent a good 2 hours trying to figure out how to fix it. Luckily I read a post where some one used a white 5/16 clip cut it flush and zip tied it in place. That got it running. So I found the clip on Amazon. I'll install it when it shows up. With the way the blue clip was hacked up I'm surprised at how hard it was to take off. I'm guessing it was the original Ford filter. Runs better now for sure.

It was yesterday, but I ran it on the dyno... I'm pretty close to transmission limits... And I still need a cold air intake, full exhaust system, lift pump, and CP3 conversion... Need a built transmission before I can use my race tune...

Are you planning to race it?
