Replaced the front plastic skid plate/radiator guard thing, checked all my EBCM connections and grounds and gave up on HIDs and ordered some new halogen bulbs from Amazon.
Protector thing was gravy.
EBCM shit failed and now I have to remove it to repair the solder issue within. SHIT.
Installed a brand new replacement HID ballast and it worked great, for 20 seconds, then sizzled real loud and died. I love the bright light but they are often so damn finicky and I'm tired of fucking with them. Going with some Philips Crystalvision Ultras to see what they are all about. They look like they should be about the same as a Silverstar Ultra but for half the price. Silverstars are stupid expensive and last maybe 12 months so I thought I'd take the cheap gamble here at least once!

Sucks to hear all the issues you had. I just don't get installing HIDs in non HID vehicles. More seem to have issues than not.
Keep us posted on the Philips. I'm still rocking the factory bulbs in my 02.

Installed a new transmission tune. Added some torque management back in. Justin said mine is looking tired, any imagine why. 
Drove the crap out of it doing max speed on the interstate for 7 hrs from PA to NC. Saw a ton of PoPo's.
