Justin adjusted the tune a bit and I cleaned it up.

Nice!

Now to upgrade it to flex fuel and have Justin tune for it. I'm seeing guys on the C5 forum getting 50 more hp out of their ZL1's when tuned for E85.

I have talked to Justin about this. He's actually working on a E85 kit he may sell.

That would be cool. The kit for the Camaro is $350, not including the larger injectors. Even though the Camaro isn't E85 when I run it, it feels like it has more power.

I have a station close to me with e85. I would certainly run it.

Justin is doing the research now. He wants to be able to offer it at a very reasonable price. Obviously minus injectors. I'm wanting to do it.

I want to convert the 02. Again, on the C5 forum one guy said he got 17hp gain on his N/A Camaro. I guess for the cost it might not be worth it but I like the fact that it is $1.45 here and 93 is $2.40. Not to mention the exhaust smells better.

I just need to do some research to see what all is involved since flex fuel wasn't around much in 02.

Upgrading?

I'll stick better clutches in it, but nothing crazy. It has done fairly well considering what I have put it through. It should last long enough.

Originally tuned in 2008 with zero torque management. Quite a bit of towing and almost 2 years of Magnacharger.

Right on. Nothing wrong with that, Maggie being in the equation.

My buddy's 06 VMax just rolled 150k and has yet to get anything repaired. Love that truck, I should have bought it.

He flogs the hell out of it

Without the Maggie and or the trailer I would bet I got another 40-50 thousand out of it. I don't not baby this truck one bit. I will fully admit it has a lot of WOT downshifts from D to 2 with and without the supercharger.

This is why I'm not considering an 80 swap. Not worth it for my use. I am considering a set of 4.10 gears though.

4.10s would make a world of difference. You should do that for sure. Your Trans would like it too!
