Grumpy's burb gets a new set of shoes today.Gonna put a set of Michelin LTXs on it,LT265/75R/16.$695.00 out the door, thought that was a good price.America's Tire is running a buy 3 get 1 free offer, thought I'd take advantage of that.Includes an alignment

That is a good price....
Last set I put on the Caddy was over $1,000 bucks... :ohnoes: :crybaby:

These are the LTX Second Generation tire so her burb should be set for a few years now

Next thing is shocks...gonna put KYB Mono-Tubes on it,same as on my burb

I have heard good things about those....

They are very good shocks, they are a more firm shock meant for off road or for heavier vehicles, they're working great on my burb.Personally I prefer a firm ride.

I put the Monotubes on my Burban a few months ago. So far I like them. Last time I went to the deer lease I noticed that my Burb rode a bit rough though. But then again, that might be because I swapped out the rear springs too. :dunno:

The Monotubes are meant to be firm,I'll be putting 'em on Grumpy's burb tomorrow(gotta work today).

I haven't driven it yet but she says it drives great with the new Michelins

Got the SES light and ended up finding out I have a bad O2 sensor on the white one.

Also hit 40K on the gray one.

Made Matt proud. Filled it with groceries at Sam's club. Trolled the parking lot, and found an unsuspecting Smart Car to park next to, and assert my dominance.
