My xB will hold its own against a lot of V8 trucks. Lots of V8 truck owners think they are really moving just because they make a lot of noise.

Yeah, but you can't deny, those Flowmaster Super 44s guys put on their truck REALLY open them up! Especially watch out for guys without cats or mufflers! That's about a 50hp increase; THEY'RE FAST!

I live near an NHRA drag strip. I've been there many times and seen all of the locals with their loud V8 trucks... running 16.5 and slower quarter mile times. All the while they think they are hauling ass. Stock trucks aren't all that quick. Sure there are a few who bought the biggest engine and the right combination and run in the high 15s.

Still slow.

+1 Trucks aren't fast nor are they meant to be (unless it's a sport truck), but those guys that think their trucks with just an exhaust are fast are the same people who think a car's not fast unless it has a V8.

I'm not knocking trucks. Hell I drive a V8 truck with somewhat loud exhaust! I do think it's funny that my Scion at 15.8 seconds in the quarter is faster than some of them.

And then there are the guys that are faster than hell in their trucks.. SOME ARE!

Psssh...with my 350 (that means 350hp stock...at the wheels), MagnaFlow cat-back, K&N drop in, and Black Bear tune, I'm pretty confident I can run 13s, maybe high 12s. I pull on those ricer Supras and Evos daily, they never see it coming!
