Hey guys I finally picked up a grill guard with a couple lights pretty cheap off of craigslist, just wondering if anyone had experience with getting the mounting brackets and nuts separately and what it cost them. I'm hoping for no more than $50 but it will be what it is. Anyone have some experience with this?

I'd check with Westin. They may just send you the goods.

Westin is a pretty good company. I'd bet they will sell em pretty reasonably as a kit.

I had to order my go rhino brackets from the manufacturer. I looked up their web page and e-mailed the company. They sent me a part number and price. They still had them even though they stopped making the brush guard. My bracket set was around $80 plus shipping. That came with directions, the upper and lower brackets and all the hardware. I know its not westin but maybe it will give you an idea of price.

thanks for the info. I called westin today but it was after closing. I'm hoping because they still make the guard that they will still make a kit to attach it and that it won't be as expensice (maybe $50+ shipping). I spoke with Super Duty Head Quarters (SDHQ) and they said the kit existed but westin had to send it out themselves and it couldn't be ordered. so fingers crossed that it works out. Thanks for the input ya'll. I'll let ya know tomorrow

The reason for that is, normally the only people who are going to be ordering just the kits, is body shops with insurance repairs...

Let me know the price! I need new brackets for mine... They're bent due to contact with the ground

Offroading

Steep approach and departure angles, bumps that don't look as bad as they are when at speed... :D

Dude that's crazy.
bad news, westin is saying that they're producing all of their units as 1 for 1 right now. Meaning only 1 mounting system per grill guard. So basically the best they can give me is, sorry your fucked.

as for drperry, you should call asap because they're saying that any mounts are just left overs for right now.
