Well, truck motor blew up today and is dead

Ok plan is to go with the truck to this place, get some documentation, see what I buying and leave it to them...hope it is for the better when I go to get it back.

Hopefully I'll be back up and running here in the next few days, looked at the engine and odometer, 33,128, looks pretty clean, gonna swap my air tube and alternator to it though, alt is seized and air tube is broken. It was a stolen / Police recovered vehicle, had pitman maneuver marks on the bed, was missing some internal components radio Etc.

$800 plus tax, then $500 or so plus fluids..probably more like $600


$1400 + vs $19,000 +

no payments vs $400 a month /5 years

4.3's are normally good motors, just rebuilt one from an astro with over 300,000 miles on it. It was so bad, I took 6 handfulls of carbon out of the lifter valley and had to knock the lifters out with a hammer. I was surprised it was still running when we tore it down! Good luck Ninja!!
