Thanks everyone. Reading everyone's posts is making me feel better about the whole thing. Lol my gf keeps asking me if I am sure I want to do this. Makes me think she is more reluctant than I am.

I still get a little excited each time I see a truck that I believe has a chance to be my old '91.

Yeah that is the feeling that I get in my stomach that I am always gonna be looking for this truck for the rest of my life.

Sounds like you made a smart decision. It's hard and it sucks but thus is just opening the door to bigger things and who knows what badass truck is just around the corner.

Yeah I am going to get another truck or SUV. Even my gf doesn't like the fact that I don't have a truck. She understands it but doesn't like it. She even said she will help me save so I can buy a nicer truck.

I don't know why but I really want a Lariat 4x4 Screw but meh will see how life goes.

Call Dr. Phil if you want, but I've always had that feeling when letting a truck go. I get attached

It's true what they say: You will always miss a Chevy and never a Ford...

My neighbor who was like Wilson from home improvement would always say this. He alternated trucks and bought a new Chevy or ford every other year.

He always hated to see the Chevy go but didn't care when the ford was gone...

damn that's a bummer man, totally get what you mean though. It sucks to have a vehicle that you poured your money into making it just want you wanted it to be and then having that need to sell it because you realize how much you could be saving. That's what I went through last summer.
I miss my truck like hell, it might have given me problems for the first two months but after I got it the way I liked it sure was fun to drive around. Programmer, grill guard, and no muffler with a pipe exiting right under the cab made it a fun house to drive, sadly 10mpgs made it a bitch to fill up (especially that 36 gallon tank). Now I drive a corolla, economical? yes. quick? kinda. same as my truck? not at all
but I'm like you, I already had something else in mind I wanted to buy afterwards. Saved up my money and in no time had my bronco. It'll work out, it just sucks right now.

I think what you're feeling is normal. According to my wife, I care more about the trucks I've had than I do her. :D
