When I got mine, they were software than I expected and I wasn't too sure how well they would hold up. But, they seem to be holding up very well, so far.

They make really good fitting stuff. I don't like how slick they are personally... prefer carpeted mats. I realize you are looking for something that will keep mud off of your carpet.

Correct! I love carpet.. but with muddy boots and stuff... I wanna make my floor last!! haha.
