Installed the GM cooler kit yesterday. Strangely, the dealership got me the kit cheaper than anyone I found online would've been able to after shipping costs.

Removing the old hard return line and routing the new lines was a pain. It took me about 5 hours from start to finish, but I think I could've done it in less than 3 if I didn't have to fix some other issues and take so many breaks. Seems to have made a good difference, although I've only driven around for about two hours so far with it installed.

Also, I found out how incompetent the tech who installed my new SRTA is. Two of the 15mm bolts that hold the bellhousing to the engine weren't even finger tight. Better yet, the guy forgot to bolt down the bracket the holds the trans oil cooler lines up, which allowed the feed line to get mangled up by the steering idler arm. It damn near kinked the line, luckily I was able to bend it back enough so it would clear.

Um, that's how they get you back in so they can get more of your monies. :dunce:

Lolz, won't be my money.

So far I'm getting between 25F and 50F cooler temps.
