The daily driver should be alot more reliable and a lil newer than a 76. A 76 model anything should not be a primary source of transportation.

This. Car is 40 years old. Things will go wrong. You really need another DD.

check the frame for rust. If I remember right the frames went bad on alot of them.

And 4k is a good price IF all it needs is paint. But that is a big IF. Learn what the bird cage is and how to spot a rusty one. You don't want a rusty bird cage.

Even not being the best option for a DD it must be a nice weekend toy to get the ricers pissed off...
