'Vette Version 2

Iv got another vette i want you guys opion on-shoot me straight. It's a 76 string ray corvette with 43k orginal miles-wants 4000 for it-it runs an drives good just needs paint.

it is the yellow one but same as the white body style you can see. Said it's the best of the two.

If you are buying it as a project/fun car, I would say it is worth it. If it is going to be a daily driver, I think I would go for something newer.

I'd want some solid proof of the miles, but I also agree that it is not a wise buy for a daily driver... Maybe as a toy to restore, but not a daily.

Why not a daily driver? But yea sure a toy-i drive like 2 miles to work and just sport around otherwise.

70s Vettes were not known for their super reliability even when new... and much of what falls off of them is Vette only (and expensive). They make good toys.

The daily driver should be alot more reliable and a lil newer than a 76. A 76 model anything should not be a primary source of transportation.

check the frame for rust. If I remember right the frames went bad on alot of them.

Also check the body for cracks.

Yeah it might be a gutless turd stock but its got a Chevy 350 so the possibilities for upgrades are endless.
