V8 Supercar Weekend - Friday - Pic Heavy

Today was basically just a practice and qualifying day for the V8 Supercars and the other series that are running this weekend. Lots of cool stuff going on just the same.

I'll update this with some racing pics after this weekend is over.

First casualty... blew an engine on the main straight and got tagged in the rear.

Lots of other cars running in the other classes. Nice stuff too! Bazillions of dollars worth.

The Lotus guys were thrashing... looks like a major fix.

The tower is cool. Want to climb some stairs?
