There's "Normal Grade Braking" too. I thought the same thing

Who knows. I do not remember turning on the tow/haul button. I can hit dismiss on the buttons on my steering wheel but it is kind of hard when I am driving and trying to slow down. The downgrade is small nothing compared the hills in Lake Tahoe and the mountain areas.

Mine doesn't do "noticeable" grade braking without downshifting manually (or tow/haul being engaged). Without more context or video proof of what's going on, we're both speculating.

I wasn't asking you to do that, actually. I was just making my point to him that we're both speculating. :cheers:

Actually, the tow/haul icon should show up even when the truck is stopped. Posting a pic of the instrument cluster with the truck stopped might tell us whether or not tow/haul is on. :dunno:

I'll look when I get inside but I do not think it does. At least I have never noticed it.
