How do I lube the slip yoke? Something a newbie like me can do or just take it to the dealer? I'd hate to take my truck in just to have them do a lube job w/o any other services and charge me an outrageous fee. Thanks for your replies guys.

Scott! I too was skeptical, that this simple procedure would fix my clunking, but I be damn if it didn't. :thumbs:

The truck now drives like the day I bought it!:D

It may be two different problems between yours and the OP. I say the shaft, due to that its a common problem.

Plus, it doesn't cost much and you can't go wrong by lubing your shaft every once and a while.
