Glad to hear you are ok. I used to live in Tucson, AZ and my brother in-law lived in San Diego. My wife was going to visit him, and loaded our 96 GMC Sonoma up for the 5 or 6 hour drive. Like you, near Yuma, AZ she did the same thing. Reading your story was a little eerie for me, since it was pretty much word for word how she explained her wreck. My 18 month old son was in the front in his car seat, and our dog was in the bed that had the cap on it. Needless to say our truck was totalled then too. Wife was banged up pretty good, but everyone was ok, even the dog!

Thanks everyone for the support. Definitely have plans, but nothing soon at all. I think? ha! I'm now a day late to getting back to work, so about to head back out on the same road.
