You look on craigslist? I found one of these for $100 and snatched it up. So when I turn 21 I am ready. Plus it ease my mind on important paper work and such.

Yeah I've looked for those for over a year and haven't found one for cheap that's way too expensive for me

a crook isnt going to wait for you to get your gun out. i keep minr under the center console with a full clip but none in the chamber.

I don't keep it in there unless I'm not in the truck. I will use it only to lock up my gun when I'm not allowed to carry it. God forbid if a BG broke into my truck and got my gun then I am liable to for supplying a BG with a firearm

I'm using it for temporary storing

That's true but it would not have to be locked up when you are in the truck.

yeah but if someone breaks into your vehicle and the gun is under the seat they could grab it & plus its a big nono around here to have a firearm under the seat (i don't know why honestly)

Just my experience and research there are a ton of guys using the kind of safe I just bought for a 1/4 of the cost of other "gunvaults"

I looked at their stuff but didn't find anything that would work well for my truck, mostly because the only place I have to mount anything is already taken up with radios.

Then I saw their behind seat storage boxes and figured I'd take a closer look. Not bad, but I had to do a  over this line from their description: "Every DU-HA behind seat storage bin is custom designed to fit a particular model of truck. The DU-HA for the 1999 GMC Regular Cab (classic body style) is designed to fit behind your existing rear seat."

My Dan Wesson .357 is always at the ready. I can assure you that I'll never be the victim in a road rage incident. I will vacate someone's cranial cavity first.

Works great for locking up other stuff too, when truck is getting serviced

I also have a Du-Hu with locks under my back seat.

Ditto. Added security and a ease feeling.
