That really sucks Black Z60. I would let the insurance deal with it to avoid the months of frustration trying to deal with TXDOT. The insurance companies are pretty good at this stuff and they do have access to a State fund where they can get some of their money back.

Well put Jim. And though this should never of happened somtimes these guys go in like a bull in a china shop. They want to get the job done so they can get home. Someone should have told that guy that he was going to be working for quite a while.

Don't know how those trucks in the post above are spreading but the ones near me had a powered unit on the rear that shot out the gravel. I will post a pic later when I can of the particals i got out of the bed. They wer like giant truck mounted lawn spreaders. Like that wirly bird thing you wuld use to spread grass seed on your lawn witht he granc and it shoots seed all over the place.

I called my insurance co today, they are sending an adjuster out when I get back home. The lady told me she has personaly worked 2 other claims out of the Dallas area for the same thing.

Pretty sure this will be comp claim. I wish I knew how this insurance thing works but I am going to fight for a complete repaint. I just don't see a 1/2 painted black truck matching very well. Will be looking to ge the work done at the shop that is doing my 67 Camaro.
