That's one of my pet peeves in life, how Chevy calls the 6.5' bed "regular" on the half tons :fume:

Only if the camper trailer(also called a travel trailer)is a fifth wheel,and then only in some states I believe.Ca. allows it.It's gonna be a very long setup,not one to drive around town in.Hard to park,hard to turn around,etc.

I know very little about campers, so don't mind my ignorance, but why not go with a pull behind camper? Price? That would be my choice, never was a fan of bed campers, they seem to be a bit cramped. :dunno:

As I explained, we prefer the slide in camper. I have already done the trailer.
Price certainly is not the issue, as slide in campers cost much, much more.
