Hey everyone, has anyone used a portable truck bed liner? I really don't need a bed liner in my truck but every once and a while I haul leaves in my truck and have been using a tarp (doesnt work too well). I found a portable truck bed liner here https://mokoauto.com/ but I haven't heard too much about it. Any advice?

A spammer that says thanks?

Anyway, I never heard of such a thing, so I googled "portable bed liners" and found tarps that are custom cut to be shaped like a truck bed. Neat looking , but it seems like a regular tarp would work just as well and have other uses. :D

Hey thanks Dartboy, I'm not sure how I am a spammer either
Yeah I might just stick with regular tarps for now. I just didnt know if these bed liners were any better. I just thought it was cool that it had straps and handles haha.

Your first post would lead one to thing you are advertising for a truck bed accessory. :dunno:

I have not used one. I have used every other bed liner known to man, though.

While I understand that 99% of the time none of us needs one, they do add a bit of value to the truck, and it can help cover scratches, etc.

So, hauling leaves...do you mean like actually filling your bed with the leaves, not in bags?? Sounds like you need a bed COVER more than a liner. Leaves aren't going to hurt your bed, so the leaves blowing out of the back must be the issue, correct?

If so, your thread title is bit misleading. We think of bedliners like Rhino, LineX etc

In the case of the leaves, that thing you linked might just be the ticket. Let us know how it goes, if you get one!

Welcome

Hey thanks, you're correct my main concern for getting one is to prevent leaves and whatever is in my bed from blowing out, and tying down a tarp can get pretty annoying haha. Ill let you guys know if I end up getting one so i can give a review.

Let the leaves blow out, save on dump fees.

Somewhere, I got a bungee-cord cargo net, hook into bed stake holes or under the bed rails. Did a pretty good job of securing tarps
