Was this with gas with 10% ethanol in it? Or did you fill up with pure gasoline? Perhaps you filled with pure gas in Mississippi? I notice I get at least 3mpg MORE when I run pure gasoline as opposed to the crap with 10% ethanol in it.

I think the best I've ever gotten was 14.8mpg.

no it was 10%, it said it on the pump....

That's sweet, if I run around 75 on the highway I get 21. But just normal around town and short trip I'm good for around 17.
