This is kind of an informal poll. I want to know how often you all change filters and service your transmission. Legit question here so I made sure to spell out transmission, because I would give it about 3 post before some one made a servicing a "tranny" reference.

Before I switched to Amsoil I was doing a full change with filter every 30,000 miles.

I have only done this with one vehicle I have ever owned and that's cause it was slipping and slamming in to gear. Other than that I never have.

I changed the fluid on the Caddy at 80,000.
The owners manual says 150,000... but no way was I going to wait that long.

Mine was probably way overkill.

there was a temp to fluid life chart somewhere that said at 195 it should be changed at 30 or 50k miles

50K...That's a flush and filter change.

I did a fluid and filter change at 52k right after I bought this truck. Then at about 80k I did a fluid and filter change, but I also flushed it too, because I upgraded to the Dexron 6 which they claim is good for 100k-150k miles. See my write up thread HERE.

I followed his write up wen i first joined up. Worked like a charm.

I'm getting close to 60k. Probably something I should be doing.
