As long as the sensor doesn't touch any of the internals should be OK :thumbs:

Nice. I was thinking of putting in a second sensor with a toggle switch.

BTW,I used a engine coolant mechanical sensor.Figured it should read any liquid :dunno:

I think my dads 4l80 has that dimple but on his it's a drain plug

Just thought I'd show you the gauge setup....trans temp is where the coolant temp would normally be.
