Yep,over the weld just to make sure there were no leaks(inside as well).Hasn't leaked a drop in over a year

As long as the sensor doesn't touch any of the internals should be OK

Nice. I was thinking of putting in a second sensor with a toggle switch.

BTW,I used a engine coolant mechanical sensor.Figured it should read any liquid
