Transmission Flush and Cooler Install Pics

Well Today I Did a transmission flush as part of the 90K miles service. I also installed a Aux tranny cooler as well a radiator bypass which is recommended bypass the guys on the 2nd gen Xterra forum. I don't really have enouph pictures to do a write up but here are the ones i took. Enjoy.

Cool, doesn't look all that bad for 90K. That isn't sludge in the pan is it? Hard to tell if it's just dark colored fluid or sludge.

The little bits is just clutch material the smooth looking stuff is just dark red tranny fluid the pan is black so it makes it look darker. That Fluid has 32k on it. Nissan recommends a 30k drain interval.

:thumbs: I should change the fluid in mine. I need to find time and drive to Nicks house and let him do it for me. :D

Looks like the trans has no issues judging by the evidence in the pan. Not bad at all. Most of that was probably from the initial breakin.

Yea from the research I've done most ppl just take the drain plug out and refill. I even some shops. I think thats the first time that pan has been dropped.

Come on down Jeff. I'll be glad to change your ATF fluid out for ya and install a new filter. Make a weekend getaway for you and the wife, down here in sunny NC. :thumbs:

Nice install on the cooler. :thumbs: Fluid didn't look all that bad.

truck seems to drive better after doing this. Might just be in my head idk.
