My buddy has a single semi horn hooked up via a 5 gal. propane tank filled with air, then a loop of pex tubing ran in the cab with a valve through the back window. He doesn't run it all the time, but it is great fun for a while and lasts for quite a few bursts.

One night we honked at a drunk guy walking and he litterely fell flat on his face:lol:

ive been thinking of getting these, but find them just a wee bit too much. im looking for BigRig horns instead...its hard to find real ones and not POS toys

That's an awesome idea, But I think the moment you really want it... the tank would probably be empty or just becoming empty. Instead of getting your point across it will sound like a joke LOL

I think a small 12vdc compressor wired to the ignition will always keep the tank full ans ready.

I want just the tank and compressor from the set. I dont think I've ever even honked my horn. I've wanted to twice but by the time I thought about it the opportunity had passed so having the train horns would not be very useful.
