I've been knocked down drug out and left for dead
Rejuvenate an old thread here. I plan on doing this to mine within the next couple of weeks. Is the rubberized 3M under coating the way to go, or is there something better?

I had used the rubberized stuff before and it seemed like it peeled/flaked off fairly quick once it was introduced to winter. I'm not sure what I used, but I know it wasn't 3M.The new wheel well liners from GM are pretty cool, but I have no idea what they cost. The 3M spray worked great on mine for 80K miles, I had to touch it up a couple times a year, but no huge expense.

Wow, talk about a thread bump. Did you search for this thread, or just knew about it 7 years ago.![]()

I've been contemplating getting this thing oil sprayed with this...https://nhoilundercoating.com/It's all about the prep. Clean it with lacquer thinner, and then scuff it up with Scotch Brite or sand paper. The 3M stuff goes on thicker than the bargain shit.
The other thing you could do is use spray on bed liner, the stuff in cans

They have shaker cans for it?

There's a place about 50 miles of west of me that uses this stuff.
