I like these better. Whatever they are. :D2

FWIW since nobody has responded those are nitto mud grapplers. I have no experience with them but the posted reviews seem decent but the people that have them don't speak real highly of them. For mixed driving they work as well as you could expect out of a dedicated mud tire (not good). And for strictly mud there are much better tires out there according to others.

Mud grapplers suck IMO, they are loud as **** and don't wear well at all

Sitting still they look badass though

After some deliberation, I decided to go with Option 2. I almost ended up with some 285/70/17 Hankook Dynapro ATM's (like I had on the Frontier) but they were quite a bit more expensive than the BFG's. Sorry for the crappy pics, it was almost dark when I got the camera out. Ended up getting the set for $796 out the door, which was about $350 less than the online quote I got. I traded in the stock Goodyear pieces of crap to get that deal.

So far, I am very happy with them. They have a little whine to them on the highway, but not near as loud as the last set of BFG MT KM's I had on my 2500. The truck runs great with them, transmission shifts fine with no stutters or hunting (issues I had when I went to an equivalent size on my 2500). I just need to remember I am going a few MPH faster than the speedo says! I guess I will find out how bad they ding the gas mileage pretty soon, but I am running lower RPM's now and it seems like the "eco" mode kicks in more than it did before. I will try to get some better pics up soon!
