so the wife is really digging on the 2014 ford focus se.....I like the little car but....I like the tuarus SHO better, trying to get her talked into it but I'm loosong that battle, thoughts on the focus? opinions? reliability issues? trying to cover all the bases before I make such a large purchase

My brother has a Focus ST and loves it. He's had no complaints so far.

...and as the others have said: her car, let her chose. You only get a say if she's choosing something unreasonable, and she's not.

I have tried to get her to look at the ST, she wont cuase "it doest have a trunk"....

Wow, a Focus SE vs a Taurus SHO. That's a nice price difference. I say save yourself the money, if she likes the Focus, get it. 40k vs 20K, that's a no brainier...

If you're looking to splurge get the Focus Titanium. It's only 24k.

I found a nice used SHO for the same as a new focus, I tried to talk her into it but she's dead set on the damn focus sedan
